A lot of companies ask Ventzki Handling Systems to provide seamless solutions which eliminate interfaces at assembly workstations. Ventzki produces and supplies lifting, tilting and dumping equipment. By taking a holistic approach, the company is able to design production workstations which meet high ergonomic and efficiency standards. To cite one example, Ventzki has developed a new container lifter with a 230 V electric drive which consumes 20% less energy than versions which operate with expensive compressed air. The portfolio also includes a new lift dumper and an enhanced modular scissor-lift table as well as manipulators for moderate loads and balancers with jib crane, vertical lift axes and turning grippers. “We encourage customers and visitors to explain their problems to us so that we can develop tailored solutions,” explained site manager Gregor Zens.
The company delivers individual solutions to customers such as the paint systems supplier Dürr, the energy and automation systems provider ABB and Getrag which manufactures transmission systems. Ventzki also provides solutions directly to automobile manufacturers. Two material delivery systems (lifting and conveying) for an annealing furnace were supplied to Getrag in England. The tools compensate for a 50 cm height differential and are used to load and discharge parts prior to and after annealing in fully automated operation.
Turnover for the first 6 months of the year was more than 50% higher than anticipated. The company expects to achieve sales of 3 million euros for the full twelve months. Visitors at Motek will have the opportunity to see a material flow simulation which models what goes on in production on a daily basis, namely interaction between a slewing crane with manipulator, two dumping units and a lift table at a compact, ergonomic workstation.
